These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with emilyandlucyretreats. By booking a retreat with us, you agree to the following:

1. Booking & Payment

To secure your place on a retreat:

  • A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total cost or £200 (whichever is greater) is required at the time of booking.

  • 50% of the total cost must be paid at least 3 months before the retreat start date

  • Full payment must be made at least 1 month before the retreat start date

If booking within 1 month of the retreat start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

All prices are listed in GBP (£).

2. What’s Included

Each retreat is unique, so full details are outlined in the specific retreat description.

Typically, your retreat includes:

  • Accommodation

  • Meals and non-alcoholic drinks (as specified)

  • Yoga, workshops, and scheduled activities

Not included:

  • Flights

  • Travel insurance

  • Alcoholic drinks

  • Optional extras not listed in the retreat details.

3. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us via email.

Cooling-off period:

  • Within 7 days of booking: full refund

After this period:

  • More than 3 months before retreat: deposit retained, remainder refunded

  • Between 3 months and 1 month before: 50% of total cost retained

  • Less than 1 month before: 100% of total cost retained

We are unable to offer refunds for:

  • Late arrivals

  • Early departures

  • Missed activities

4. Retreat Changes & Cancellations

In the rare event that Emilyandlucyretreats needs to cancel a retreat:

  • You will receive a full refund of all payments made.

  • Alternatively, you may transfer your booking to another retreat.

We are not responsible for additional costs incurred (such as flights or travel expenses), which is why travel insurance is essential.

We may make small adjustments to retreat schedules, teachers, or accommodation if necessary. Any changes will always aim to maintain the quality and integrity of your experience.

5. Travel & Public Health

If government travel restrictions or circumstances beyond anyone’s control prevent the retreat from going ahead:

  • You will be offered a full refund or transfer.

If you are unable to attend for personal reasons (e.g., illness), the standard cancellation policy applies.

6. Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Weather conditions

  • Travel disruptions

  • Government restrictions

  • Illness of staff or instructors

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Emilyandlucyretreats is not responsible for:

  • Personal injury or loss (unless caused by our negligence)

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

  • Travel disruptions or missed connections

  • Additional expenses such as flights or accommodation outside the retreat

By attending, you agree to take full responsibility for your own health, well-being, and personal property.

8. Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including:

  • Trip cancellation

  • Medical cover

  • Personal belongings

This should be arranged at the time of booking.

9. Health & Wellbeing

Retreats are designed for wellbeing, relaxation, and personal development.

By attending, you confirm that:

  • You are physically and mentally fit to participate.

  • You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions or dietary requirements.

Yoga and other activities are undertaken at your own pace and responsibility.

If you are pregnant or have health concerns, please consult your doctor before attending.

10. Consent

Our teachers may offer hands-on adjustments during sessions. If you prefer not to receive these, please inform the teacher before the class begins.

11. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

12. Complaints

We genuinely care about your experience and welcome feedback.

If something isn’t right, please contact us with:

  • Your name and contact details

  • Retreat details

  • A clear description of your concern

We aim to respond within 7 days and resolve matters as quickly as possible.
